Anton Michelsen Jewellery

Anton Michelsen (1809-1877) was founder in 1841 of one of the most important jeweller families in Denmark, officially appointed in 1848 as royal jeweller to the Danish Royal Court. The company of Anton Michelsen had significant influence on Danish jewellery design in the 20th century employing important designers such as Nanna & Ditzel Jorgen, Knud V. Andersen, Gertrude Engel and J.W.Hansen
