Niels Erik (N.E.) From Jewellery

N.E. From (1908-1986) was born in Denmark where he trained as a silversmith. In 1931 he opened his first shop selling his jewellery of sinewy foliage and floral designs in silver, but later in the 1960s the company built their reputation on bold modernist jewellery designs in silver set with semi-precious stones. Neils Erik From is considered one of the great designers of Danish modern design.
